Colpac Celebrates ‘Win of the Month’ Award Recipients This International Women’s Day

This year’s theme is #InspireInclusion, with particular focus on investing in women to accelerate progress. Organisations and groups can #InspireInclusion through developing female talent, supporting women into leadership roles, and providing women with access to training.

Colpac recognises excellence through its ‘Win of the Month’ award which highlights members of the team who go above and beyond. The awards also help to promote growth opportunities and to inspire colleagues to accelerate their learning and career development.

Several women have been well-deserved winners of Colpac’s ‘Win of the Month’ award, and the company is showcasing team members in conjunction with International Women’s Day. Winners have been celebrated for a variety of achievements, including advancing their skills and being promoted into leadership positions.

Aneta embraced Colpac’s in-house training programme and propelled herself into a supervisory role, becoming the company’s first female machine minder in its UK factory!

Vyta also worked through Colpac’s training scheme and then became a passionate champion for training new colleagues herself, delivering engaging sessions with great interest and enthusiasm.

Fran took on additional responsibilities to support a colleague from another department when they needed it. She took the initiative to train others in Colpac systems, contributing to the upskilling of the team and embodying this year’s International Women’s Day theme of #InspireInclusion.

Other members of the team threw themselves into projects to accelerate progress in terms of their professional development, as well as implementing positive improvements across the company.

Magali took the lead on a complex project, understanding, interpreting, and implementing new legislation. Her initiative to lead this project exemplifies the spirit of accelerating women in the workplace.

Laura managed the development and launch of the new Colpac website, taking on this challenging project within a month of joining the team. This was an opportunity to #InspireInclusion across a large stakeholder group and build her company knowledge, as well as Colpac’s online presence.

Colpac team members have also won the award for specific examples of exemplary customer service, going above and beyond to nurture relationships and contribute to business growth.

Emily hit the ground running, immersing herself in the intricacies of packaging and transforming her home office into a haven of product samples. She is storming ahead of her sales targets and continues to push for new opportunities.

Vero won her award for exemplifying the spirit of customer-centricity. She recently organised an afternoon tea for a visiting customer which not only fostered inclusion, but also created a fantastic networking opportunity.

Alaine has been recognised for being inspirational in going the extra mile for customers. She uses initiative and takes ownership of projects, picking up requests promptly to support others and ensuring customers get what they need. Alaine is a fantastic advocate for collaboration and shares credit across her team, all of whom she wanted to be recognised alongside herself.

Taking pride in work and ensuring consistently high product quality is paramount to Colpac’s success.

Gosia’s commitment to operational effectiveness and impeccable teamwork earned her the well-deserved title of ‘Win of the Month’. She meticulously checks every container, ensuring that each box is packaged to perfection. Gosia also fosters a positive work environment and looks out for her colleagues, to #InspireInclusion every day.
