Appealable
Our Appealable range includes a selection of recyclable sandwich packs and salad boxes, featuring patented self-seal technology. The paperboard and window film utilised to make the packs are also commercially compostable to EN13432.
Appealable Self-Seal Technology
The patented self-seal is sealable by hand using a food safe adhesive strip. It was developed specifically for this packaging range and can increase shelf-life from same day to two days. The addition of sealing reduces oxygen flow and therefore increases shelf-life, reducing food waste.
Our Appealable range does not require sealing machinery and is perfect for customers that want to seal their packs to increase the shelf-life of the contents.
The patented self-seal is also resealable by hand so consumers can re-seal their packs to eat the contents later.
Appealable Partnership with Wildlife Trust
When designing our Appealable wildlife range, we worked with the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Northamptonshire (BCN) Wildlife Trust. The packs were developed to raise awareness of the Wildlife Trust and to promote the excellent conservation work that it does.
We wanted to demonstrate this partnership visually, so designed a variation of the packaging which shows Folly Wood, a conservation area local to our head office in Flitwick. This design is available on our Appealable wildlife triangle sandwich pack.
Appealable Sandwich and Wrap Packs
Our Appealable self-seal sandwich and wrap packs are made from paperboard and have a water based, grease resistant coating. They are made from commercially compostable paperboard and window film and are available in our green Folly Wood design, or in printed kraft effect.
