Certified Packaging Sustainability
We recognise the importance of responsible practices in every aspect of our operations, from minimising environmental impact to ensuring that our packaging supports a more sustainable future.
Our sustainability certifications demonstrate our dedication to maintaining high environmental standards. These includes following environmental management systems, supporting recycling initiatives with the On-Pack Recycling Label (OPRL) and ensuring sustainable sourcing through utilising FSC® certified and PEFC certified materials.

FSC® Certified Packaging
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) is an international non-profit, multi-stakeholder organisation established in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC® runs a global forest certification standard with two key components, Forest Management and Chain of Custody.
We source and utilise FSC® certified materials to manufacture our FSC® certified packaging and sell the finished goods with a chain of custody. This demonstrates that sourcing, manufacturing, and sale is completed in accordance with the FSC® certification, giving our customers assurance of sustainable sourcing.
Our FSC® license code is FSC-CO41147.

Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification
The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) is an international non-profit and alliance of national forest certification schemes. It works to protect our forests by promoting sustainable forest management through independent certification.
Within our well-established supplier network, we have access to PEFC certified materials. These materials can be utilised for custom food packaging that we can design and develop for bespoke customer projects.

ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management
ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organisation can use to enhance its environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by organisations seeking to manage environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner.
Our ISO 14001 certification demonstrates that we instill environmental responsibility into our daily practices and that we manage our operations in an environmentally sound manner. This includes areas such as monitoring our energy usage and emissions, responsibly managing waste disposal, considering local biodiversity, and implementing multiple on-site recycling options. Across these areas, and others, we constantly monitor and improve our environmental performance.

On-Pack Recycling Label
The On-Pack Recycling Label (OPRL) scheme aims to deliver a simple, consistent, and UK-wide recycling message on retailer and brand packaging, to help consumers recycle more material correctly, more often.
Our standard recycling information is based on UK OPRL guidelines and aims to help customers to make informed choices when disposing of our packaging.
As members, we work closely with OPRL to “design for recyclability” and visit waste management facilities to understand recycling processes in action. This helps us to select materials and coatings that suit recycling in practice, continuously improve eco-design efforts, and offer more recyclable packaging to customers.
We also monitor recycling labelling across Europe, in line with the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation.

Science Based Targets Initiative
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a corporate climate action organisation that enables companies and financial institutions worldwide to play their part in combating the climate crisis. SBTi checks and validates net zero targets against the initiative’s criteria and guidance.
We have worked through the SBTi’s Small and Medium Enterprise pathway to have two of our net zero targets validated. This provides external verification of our targets against our carbon data and SBTi criteria. It confirms that our targets are realistic and achievable.

Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation
The Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) is a not-for-profit organisation leading the development of a circular economy for packaging in Australia. APCO envisions a collaborative packaging value chain to keep packaging materials out of landfill and retain the maximum value of the materials, energy and labour within the local economy.
We are members of APCO which supports our understanding of recycling guidelines in Australia. We also have access to a labelling tool which helps us to determine the recyclability of our products in Australian territories. This helps us understand how to best manage recycling instructions for the products that we sell to customers in Australia.
