Supply Chain

We want to drive sustainability and responsibility throughout our supply chain. We are rigorous in our selection of suppliers, from board to inks and glues. Suppliers are required to sign our Supplier Code of Conduct that stipulates our environmental requirements and are audited for compliance by our team.

All the board we use is sourced from suppliers compliant with the EU Timber Regulation, preventing operators from placing illegal harvested timber on the market, obligating them to exercise due diligence, and ensuring sustainability throughout our supply chain. 

Forest Stewardship Council

We have FSC®-certified board available for bespoke items and for many of our stock products . Choosing FSC® when you order from us helps you to:

  • ensure that 100% of the paperboard used comes from an FSC® managed forest, where suppliers have had to meet a specific set of standards. 
  • meet consumer demand for greater environmental commitment.
  • visually demonstrate your commitment to promoting sustainable practices and protecting, conserving and restoring forests worldwide.
  • have even greater reassurance about the origin of your paperboard
  • contribute to the protection of forests worldwide and FSC’s financially viable alternatives to illegal and unstainable practices.

Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification

Customers can choose to use PEFC-certified board in their products. The benefits of PEFC are similar to FSC, with both global certification schemes working towards long term sustainable forest management worldwide. The main difference is that PEFC is a mutual recognition scheme, rather than a standards agency, and an umbrella organisation that endorses national schemes and standards and holds these standards up to developing international criteria and principles. To gain PEFC endorsement, national schemes have to go through a rigorous assessment process.
