We are actively reducing our environmental footprint and committing to more sustainable business practices throughout the company. Our IS0: 14001 accreditation means that we make sure environmental responsibility is driven into our daily practices. From recycling 100% of our board waste to implementing multiple on-site recycling options, we have identified clear objectives to monitor the impact of our activities and ensure we are always improving our environmental performance. Colpac holds many other credentials (see below) and we are proud to have achieved excellent results in the audits associated with these standards. As members of Sedex, OPRL and the British Sandwich Association, we work with and work to influence our industry. This year we retained our BRC AA grade – the highest announced audit grade achievable – for the fourth year running.

We look to source as locally as possible to reduce our carbon footprint. We participate in schemes such as Woodland Trust, a carbon capture initiative, to further reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing. We also take part in local carbon off-setting schemes and partner with the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire Wildlife Trust to protect our local wildlife. Click here to find out more.
