For 2019, Colpac has revamped its Party & Gift offering and, for the first time, launched a 42-page brochure dedicated to the party and gift industry with a range of over 150, styles. The range is almost exclusively manufactured from FSC® sourced materials and the meal boxes are both recyclable and compostable reducing the impact on the environment.
The developments follow extensive research with children aged between 5 and 11, carried out by Colpac, to ensure that their entire party offering is in keeping with current trends. Throughout the whole design process a panel of child testers offered their thoughts and solutions on the ranges, whilst Colpac’s creative team researched best practice from around the globe.
The result is a range of meal boxes which are bold in design, and vibrant in colour, making them more appealing to a variety of age groups. While new ranges have been introduced, such as ‘friendly’ monster designs, and space aliens, popular themes, such as Jungle Lion™ & His Friends, Football and Fairytales have been refreshed and given greater definition to suit current tastes. The use of texture, such as fur, whiskers and scales in the Jungle Lion™ range, was particularly appealing to younger children.
In a bid to entice the 8+ market, Colpac have redesigned their Dinosaur range which were depicted by cartoon drawings, with real life images. “I liked that I could see all the teeth, it looked real,” was the feedback from one tester of the T-Rex box design from this assortment.
In addition, Colpac has expanded the offering within key ranges, from traditional meal boxes, to scoops for chips, crisps and veg sticks, lap trays, and smaller cartons for fruit and sweet treats. Suitable for the wider ranges of hot and cold dishes children demand, many of the ranges also offer interactive features, such as puzzle and colour-in booklets and crayons.
Serving the global market with its sandwich and food-to-go packs, Colpac frequently renews its offering to meet consumer, retail and consumer demands. “We cater to a wide range of customers, from retailers to food service operators and distributors and wholesalers with a wide customer base.” comments Dave Robins – Product Manager “Our Party & Gift range is purchased by theme parks, garden centres, wildlife parks as well as party distributors, so it is vital that our ranges are appealing and up to date.”

The Party & Gift brochure will also feature Colpac’s complete range of popular meal boxes and, new for 2019, gift pouches for smaller items, such as chocolates or favours and are ideal for corporate events.
Colpac will be launching seasonal ranges, to cater to the growing consumer demand for Easter, Halloween and Christmas Party & Gift ranges, enabling us to keep on track with seasonal trends.
